ABOUT ME

Born in 1964, I was quickly adopted into Sacramento, CA. family. After moving to southern California and starting school in the lovely mountain town of Crestline, my parents separated and I moved back to Sacramento with my mom and brother. One of the first of America’s broken families; we grew up in poverty in the hood of Sacramento.

I had my son at a very young age and lived a part of my life abroad; in Western Germany, were my daughter was born, and then back state side in a quiet community of Washington State, before my children and I eventually ended up back in California.

I am blessed to be the mother of two great people and one very awesome granddaughter. I live in a small gold rush and logging community in the foothills of the sierra. That is where my children and I learned how to live without TV and video games. We replaced white sugar with honey and pasteurized cow milk for fresh from our own goats milk.

I have always been a country girl at heart and I love books, great stories & ghostie stories, growing my own food, animals of all shapes and sizes, sustainable living and my amazing and wonderful family.

The issues that I am passionate about include subjects like; California as a Prison State, Freedom of Religion, and California proposition 215 patient rights and Herbal Therapy / Human Rights to Healthy Medicine, Cosmetics and Food.

I love music, all kinds but especially Alanis Morrissette, Queen, Puscifer
My all-time favorite movie is Fiddler on the Roof.

Favorite Books; The Prophet, The Madman, Cleopatra’s Memoirs, Horse Clan series, Arthur’s Goon, anything by Anne Rice or Steven King, all Dragon Riders of Pern books,  on and on. So many thousands of books I have read and loved.
